I am madly in love with anything vintage and have been for over 20 years or so now. The appeal for me with the 1940s and 1950s started when I was a teenager because I just didn't find the modern lifestyle appealing or romantic. So from about the age of seventeen I was hooked on the clothing, the furniture and the music. I can't get enough and enjoy being around others who love it as much as me. What a way to live! I wouldn't ask for it any other way. Now I can write a blog about my lifestyle and the things I enjoy and feel passionate about.

Busy, Busy Times!!

Gee my blogs are getting more and more apart these days but I do have an excuse. I have been super busy co-producing Australia's First Annual Burlesque Festival and its only (yikes!!) less than two weeks away!! So much to do and so little time. Thank goodness I am hooked up with a fabulous team whom are just wonderful to work with. It so does help when you find the right mix.
I am also about to launch something new relating to burlesque which is a great project and will hit Melbourne in July. Stay tuned for that one folks.
After that I am off to Europe with my gal pals for some fun times! Going to High Rockabilly in Spain, then London and then Paris. Oh la la!!! I can taste the croissants already.

  2. Just don't eat croissants in Spain ! (Seriously, they use some weird shortening... but I love the coffee, and the toast in the cafes; order pulpo a la gallega (octopus made in the regional style of Galicia)... we'll try to catch some burlesque... miss you sewing buddy!
