- I am madly in love with anything vintage and have been for over 20 years or so now. The appeal for me with the 1940s and 1950s started when I was a teenager because I just didn't find the modern lifestyle appealing or romantic. So from about the age of seventeen I was hooked on the clothing, the furniture and the music. I can't get enough and enjoy being around others who love it as much as me. What a way to live! I wouldn't ask for it any other way. Now I can write a blog about my lifestyle and the things I enjoy and feel passionate about.

The Butterfly Circus - a must watch!!
Sorry I haven't posted in a week or so but been a busy bee!
I just wanted to share this MAGNIFICENT short film I watched today. It is set in the 1930s and is about a traveling circus called 'The Butterfly Circus' that inspires so-called outcasts to embrace the wonder that they are. It is about hope and it would have to be one of the most wonderfully inspiring things I have seen in a long time. For anyone having a bad day or feeling self doubt watch this as you truly have nothing to worry about. Please take the time to watch as it is worth every bit of the 20 minutes.

My fabulous husband is always showing me wonderful websites or youtube footage of shows or events I might like. Heres one of them - 'Vintage Goodwood'! Boy am I planning on going in 2011. Can't go this year as already planning a trip to Europe.
