I am madly in love with anything vintage and have been for over 20 years or so now. The appeal for me with the 1940s and 1950s started when I was a teenager because I just didn't find the modern lifestyle appealing or romantic. So from about the age of seventeen I was hooked on the clothing, the furniture and the music. I can't get enough and enjoy being around others who love it as much as me. What a way to live! I wouldn't ask for it any other way. Now I can write a blog about my lifestyle and the things I enjoy and feel passionate about.

15 April 2010

Well I just realised I have not posted for a few weeks. Where or where does the time go?? I guess I have been so caught up with work and my burlesque festival. Speaking of burlesque if you want to come to Australia's First Annual Burlesque Festival see our website for tickets and performers via www.australianburlesquefest.com

Now for a rather exciting bit of news!! I am going to Europe in September with two of my gal pals. We are hitting High Rockabilly first in Calafel for a week and then we go to Barcelona!! Oh the people, architecture and food. Can't wait.

Then we go to London for two days to do all the touristy things but also to check out some vintage style shops like 'What Katie Did' and so on.

Then we go to PARIS for a week and boy oh boy I am excited to say the least. We are trying to finalise a very lovely apartment that we want in The Marais District called Belle Epoque. It is very cute and very French!!!

So two wonderful things to look forward to this year. Lots of planning but the experience will be worth it.
